Our cattle-grade hay is a mixture of Paiute and Potomac grasses with a sprinkle of alfalfa. Cattle-grade means it doesn't meet our standards for horse hay, but it is still top-grade hay.
Cattle-Grade Hay
The Paiute and Potomac orchard grasses mixture provides one of the highest protein mixes available. With a sprinkle of alfalfa, your cows will be overjoyed to bury their noses to find the sweet leaves. With this mixture, there will be very little left behind after feeding.
We cut and harvest our cattle-grade hay from several fields that meet our high standards. We encourage you to inspect your hay before leaving the yard; if any of the products don't meet your standards, we are happy to trade them out for some that do. Once the hay leaves our yard, we are no longer responsible for its quality.
